Take an hour out of your busy day to enjoy nature in the cemeteries, learn about useful plants and celebrate Love Parks Week. Tours at 12noon and 2pm, each lasting around 1 hour.
Join Sustainable Life for a beginners foraging walk through Warstone Lane and Key Hill cemeteries learning about edible and useful plants with an expert guide. The walk will last around 1 hour and will be pushchair friendly!
On the walk we will be looking at trees, medicinal plants and herbal remedies, edible (or drinkable) plants and recipes, and useful fun plants! Quirky history or facts, ID features and harmful doppelgangers to watch out for.
Join us for a casual stroll enjoying the natural green spaces of Birmingham and learning a little more about plants including fungi, fruit, nuts, leaves, roots and more as you go along!
What we look at will vary according to the season and where the walk takes us! We will meet outside The Big Peg and then walk over to the cemeteries together.
This walk is FREE but places are limited to 5 people per session to maintain social distancing. Book early to avoid disappointment.
