A brand new outdoors show from Don’t Go Into The Cellar featuring adaptations of The Selfish Giant, The Nightingale and The Rose and more.
Oscar Wilde, Out and About is a brand new outdoors show from Don’t Go Into The Cellar! Jonathan Goodwin plays the famed Irish playwright in a performance featuring adaptations of The Selfish Giant and The Nightingale and The Rose, plus plenty more.
Though we are all born in the gutter, it is true, why not join Oscar as he gazes upon the stars instead? Who knows? If you don’t keep him waiting for too long, he might even wait for you forever.
The show is adapted by Jonathan Goodwin and co-directed by Goodwin and Gary Archer.
Tickets are limited to a max of 6 people from one household. If you are booking for more than 6 people or people from different households, please place two separate orders. The seating will be set out into socially distanced bubbles based on the orders which have been placed. The audience will not be permitted to move their seats during the performance to ensure distances are maintained.
The performance space and seating area is fully wheelchair accessible, but please email josie.wall@jqdt.org so we can ensure space is left for your wheelchair in your seating area. Please let us know if you have any other access needs.
Hand sanitiser will be available on arrival. Plastic chairs will be used for seating and sanitised before the performance, but this is an outdoor setting without shelter. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring your own blankets or cushions if you would like to be cosy! You are permitted to bring your own refreshments (please no alcohol) but please be aware that toilets are not available in the cemetery.
