Look after the cemeteries, make them beautiful and help create a haven for wildlife with native flowers.
We’ll be clearing the fallen leaves and branches from last year and planting woodland plants including Primroses in Key Hill and Warstone Lane Cemeteries.
As always we’ll be following social distancing guidelines to make sure everyone stays safe!
We’ll be meeting outside The JQBID booth on The Big Peg on Golden Square each time to pick up our equipment – hi vis vests, gloves, gardening tools and plants provided. No experience necessary – training will be provided.
Wednesday 12th May – 11am – 1pm (planting in Key Hill Cemetery) or 2pm – 4pm (planting in Warstone Lane Cemetery)
Saturday 15th May – 11am – 1pm (planting in Key Hill Cemetery) or 2pm – 4pm (planting in Warstone Lane Cemetery)
We’ll be ensuring that social distancing guidelines are followed to keep everyone safe, and places are limited to avoid overcrowding.
If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 please let us know so we can cancel your ticket. If you are travelling from outside the Jewellery Quarter please walk, cycle or use your own vehicle if possible. Face coverings are required on public transport.
